For the first time in almost 10 years, I will have to figure out how to stay positive and keep my head up without two of my best friends, as they're going away for 9 months, with one of my other best friends having his first kid. I haven't gone without my any of my best friends since my sophomore year of high school, which was in 2008. It's been almost 6 years since my last journal entry here on DA... it's crazy to think that in just 6 years so much in my life has changed. The anxious, depressed 17 year old that was last posting here is gone, and I am now a 23 year old young man who has learned to deal with the obstacles life throws at me. I was diagnosed with chronic depression when I was 17, but refused to be medicated. Instead, I found a hobby that offsets the anxiety and depression I once battled. I've been busy as you can tell, cuz I haven't been present here for quite a long time. I've been working on my MMA career, training with the great Jake Villanueva. Everything has taken a backseat to that and working. I have closed the wounds that were opened by heartbreak 7 months ago, and I have a relationship that is doing amazing.
